<p>Do keep in mind that some people in the admissions office may not be the sentimental type. I’m not saying don’t do it, but if it is pure schmaltz that would only appeal to a die-hard Lifetime-movie-watching sappy person, you might wanna rethink that. Also, “it’s” is a contraction for “it is”. Watch for such grammar mistakes in your essay.</p>
