If you hear anything please post. Same story here… Multiple stories and run around from ACT, still quality issue posted. RIDICULOUS… And putting kids at unfair disadvantage with ED plans. Many others got MC on Sept 25, almost 2 weeks ago!
I still have the quality assurance message… I already missed a scholarship opportunity because of this delay. I hope my scores come out before it impacts my EA schools.

Anyone have a sense of how the new writing score is being used, and if the ELA score (English, reading and writing) is replacing the combined English and writing subscore? For those schools that superscore the ACT, how will they do this with the new Writing score? Will they look at the ELA or STEM scores?
I am still registered lol. No score or anything.
If you look at the link that was provided for the Percentiles for the new writing score it has this at the bottom.
“ELA and writing norms are initially based on one special study”
So I’m thinking that colleges aren’t going to be paying too much attention to it.

At what time do the ACT scores usually get sent out central time, 8 or 8:30?

It seems like most people received their scores because this forum hasn’t been very active in the past week.
I still haven’t. It’s been 4 weeks now, and people are already posting their writing scores. Words cannot describe what I’m feeling right now…

Just spoke with a representative and then a supervisor. Was told that nothing is wrong (!), this is just their normal
time frame. Asked to speak with someone higher up but both people are on the phone right now. Said they would cal me back. Interestingly, the low-level supervisor said she never heard of College Confidential. I suggested she explore the site for some feedback from ACT’s customers.
By the way, I haven’t posted anything on this subject because after the June SAT debacle (yes, my daughter took that one too), I decided to take a more Zen-like approach. But I wasn’t raised a Buddhist so I guess I’m not very good at it.
Still no scores, still have the quality assurance message. From eastern mass. Some people at my school have gotten them but I know of a lot of people who still have to quality assurance message. I am a senior who needs these scores ASAP to send to colleges. Very frustrated.
The state you come from doesn’t matter, nor the region. It seems like it’s school based, but that theory has also been shot to pieces
i’m in southern CT and we do not have our scores from Sep test. We also have the quality assurance message. I called and got the same line. They had no idea when the scores would be released. This puts students at a huge disadvantage when trying to decide where to apply ED. I am very disappointed in the lack of information coming out of ACT but since they have a monopoly, there is no recourse.
i got my score this morning! I advise everyone to check online right now!! I got a 30 tho… Feel kinda sad, but gonna retake anyways.
