@basedchem I have a hard time believing that the curve will be that lenient for english. I will be absolutely overjoyed if it is though

be a bit more specific haha :slight_smile:

@TheWaffleMan149 Well, towards the low 30s/high 20s, it looks like very typical for a english curve to me :stuck_out_tongue: Remember that those are AVERAGES, Things change from test to test.

@basedchem Thanks so much! This is so encouraging! I honestly feel as if this test will have the most generous curve out of all the ACTs

@basedchem They don’t tend to change too drastically though, do they?
@16jpatel Why do you think so? I only thought math was harder than usual, but idk maybe that was just me

@Willynilly123 well yeah I agree that the math was hard. I also thought that the reading was harder this time than before. And the science was harder than the one in June. But the English was fine.

@Willynilly123 I too, found the math harder than usual. But yes, they do change from test to test. The ones are posted are averages :stuck_out_tongue:

Anyone taking the SAT next month?

can anyone predict my composite? e: -2 m: -1 r:-1 s:-1 thanks!

@bearcon I posted the curves for a reason. Look at them yourself.

@Salutation I am!

@basedchem since they are averages i didn’t think they would reflect on this one accurately. or am i wrong? do you think the curve would be as lenient as what you posted?

@bearcon make your best judgement then. Some of those curves aren’t very lenient (sometimes scores for certain tests may not exist at all i.e. one time no one could get a 34 on Science because of the curve.). Usually, averages fall relatively close to the actual thing. I’ve taken the real SAT twice, and countless practice tests. Averages are around the same.
I’ll just do it for you.

Lenient/Harsh Curve
E:35/34
M:36/35 (possibly 34, but this time math seemed harder, so possibly more lenient)
R:36/34
S:36/35 (possibly 34)
C:36/34.

@basedchem predict mine please :slight_smile:
