I live in NYC.I am currently a junior in HS-going to be a senior.I really want to apply to Rutgers Newark but I have 2 questions that bother me:
1-Some kid told me that rutgers have a lot of AIDS students. Is it true?Or was he just being stupid?
2-Rutgers is a SUNY thats located in New Jersey.Do i apply here seperatly from New York state Suny’s or do I put Rutgers with the rest of them(I am assuming applications to SUNY are the same as to CUNY-which is you have 1 common application that you pay 80 bucks for and you can put up to 4 schools there)

he was just being stupid.

Rutgers is a state u of new jersey. not ny. and rutgers has its own application apart from the common app.

1) Complete B.S.
2) How could Rutgers, the biggest college in New Jersey, be a state university of New York? Applications are different.

That kid lied. Rutgers have a lot of STD infected students, not AIDS. I kid, I kid – well, kind of O_o

W.T.F.? State University of New YORK

Well still i mean STDS’s?And how come then Rutgers has so many?

I forgot the statistics of students with an STD. Answers have varied and I think people exaggerate it – some say 82%, some say 35%, another said . . . . ::sighs:: 137%

But it’s nothing to worry about. You said you care about Newark campus anyway. So maybe it has less students with cases compared to New Brunswick.

And the SUNY thing . . . bwahhahahahahaahaha. That was random -_-

1) The std story is only based on the clinical survey. That mean of the total amount of people going to the clinics for illnesses, that % of people of the total admitted clinical cases had STDs. And depending on who you ask…the % varies.
2)Do you know what does SUNY stands for?

lol. everyones just ripping on how dumb this guy is for saying that rutgers is a suny.

he uses words (acronyms) that he doesnt even know the meaning to.

Rutgers is known for STDs … isn’t there an urban legend that we have our own strain of Herpes or something?

What about syphilis then? Its the rarest STD in USA right now but still.Do people have it there? In fact what is the most "popular"STD that people have at rutgers?

Whoa! Chill, man! Haha

Unless you plan on engaging in sexual behavior with multiple partners, you shouldn’t be concerned about the whole STD thing. Just . . . don’t sleep around OR if you do plan on engaging in sex, simply stick to one girl (or guy) and be smart about it.

widespread stds pretty much go hand-in-hand with parties + alcohol + horny college kids.

and stds happen at other schools, too. cornell had a syphilis outbreak last year, so it happens at the ‘good’ schools as well. not saying that cornell isn’t good but also trying to say that rutgers isn’t a bad.

Rutgers have a lot of STD …:))…that is a rumble…dont fall into…Rutgers is all good for students

O_o’? Are you even planning to attend Rutgers Newark? “What is the most “popular” STD that people have at rutgers?” I don’t think anyone in there right mind would want to contract STD. Here is an answer for all your questions: Condoms.

This thread is just ridiculous and ironic.
I can’t find this STD inquiry thread containing any form of seriousness
at all.

Condoms? If I’m going to orgasm from my ***** rubbing on a piece of latex, it kind of makes the girl superfluous…and it breaks my mood when I am fired up for sex and have to stop and put a latex bag over my anaconda. Frankly, I rather put it in the arse…

^ and this, people, is why the STD rate is high amongst college students. Just imagine thousands of students with this mentality. That’s a whole lotta herpes and gonorrhea.

It’s only a matter of time that this thread will soon be removed, haha.

Whatever happened to that thread with that kid asking about a place to engage in sexual intercourse with a girl during summer orientation?

I hope you didn’t take my post seriously, this thread was already a joke itself…

^ Hahahahahaha, I didn’t take it seriously, haha. I assumed it was a joke =D

what a weird thread.
