Do i even stand a chance at Duke? i was deferred and then just wait listed at unc…

probably not. but weirder admissions decisions have happened.

If it’s any indication, I was deferred ED for Duke (as a Legacy) and got into UNC Regular Decision w/ a Robertson Scholars Semi-Finalist nomination and no hook…

If you received a robertson scholarship you should go to UNC. You have to spend a semester at Duke anyway if you are a robertson scholar at carolina.

Are you out-of-state? If so, then you definitely still have a chance. UNC OOS admission is quite competitive, so it doesn’t indicate much about your chances for other competitive schools.

@UltimateFrisbee, I didn’t end up applying for Robertson Scholars for UNC (not sure if you know, but it’s different for UNC than Duke. You are selected by the committee to apply for UNC…you don’t apply first like you do for Duke). Couldn’t do the summer program stuff :/

yeah, im out of state
i am from maryland and i got into the honors college at umd, so that made me feel confident but when i got waitlisted and as the decision day gets closer and closer i am freaking out!!
