Seriously, You Guys

If I actually make it in…I can’t wait to have dinner with all of you guys in New Haven after the entering class ceremony. With utmost sincerity, best of luck to you all.

Thank you so much, and to you too!
Truly, this forum is filled with some amazing people, and I agree:
it would be GREAT to meet you all!
ESPECIALLY in New Haven!

aww, thanks! good luck to you too! :)

How sweet.

thats sweet!
best of luck everybody.

Yeah for those of us who do get in (hopefully a lot!), we (they?) definitely have to meet up within the first few days and CELEBRATE!

Good luck everyone!

we could even have a summer pre-college get together, if at all possible, to meet up and get to know eachother in person, it would be fun to go onto campus knowing a group of people (and knowing what they looked like too) lol.

Dinner with random people you met online… I smell a movie… and it’s not a comedy.

That would be so awesome to already know a group of people before starting school. I hope we all get in!

Has anyone read “Getting Into Yale” by Josh Berezin? His dad made reservations for 10 when they first visited the campus so that Josh and his the friends that he made could meet his dad. This was of course, before he had even applied. Talk about confidence… Maybe we should all make the reservations now! lol Table for 55 please!

well. i definitely think we should do something. we can always storm the admissions office and claim yale for ourselves.

Ahh, I second the restaurant idea. Siberian, the spirit was there, but storming Yale bastille-style doesn’t seem like the most effective option.

i’ll bring the booze!! :D

thank god! some 151 and corona will do me :)

All right, well if we’re not storming Yale, we can go have some pizza in what they say is the best pizza city in the country.

Umm, second best pizza city in the country.

(Second only to NY, of course.)

“what they say” new havenites all feel that way. i happen to prefer our pizza…bebere where in ny are you from?

Well…technically I’m from Long Island…

But I have a whole lot of NYC pride. :D

As a native New Yorker transplanted in New Haven, I think it’s safe to say that New Haven has the best thin-crust pizza. New York has the best thick, doughy crust pizza.

They certainly have the oldest. I read that somewhere. Whenever I mention New Haven to anyone, they say, “go to so and so pizza.”
