Long time members may remember a vocabulary website I created a while ago called SesameWords. To create it, I took my stack of about 60 real exams, entered all the vocabulary words manually over the course of a weekend, and ranked them by importance for the SAT. Two of the original threads are here:

When I stopped working full-time as a private tutor, I stopped maintaining the website, but I keep getting PMs from students who want the words, so I’ve put it back up. The URL is now http://sites.google.com/site/sesamewords/ but the old address (www.sesamewords.com) should forward to the new site. (It looks a little different because I moved it to Google’s free hosting service.)

I also uploaded all the words, with synonyms, to Quizlet, a great online flash card program that you people should all know about. To use flash cards for those words, you can go to the Quizlet group:

[Group: SesameWords SAT | Quizlet](http://quizlet.com/group/50374/)

Some of the synonyms could be a little clearer, so I’ll try to edit them again bit by bit, and I’ll probably be adding resources (links, other handouts) to the page as I have time.

Hope this helps somebody. Best of luck studying, all.
