Is sending three teacher recs frowned upon? I have my APUSH teacher (11), my Calculus teacher (11, 12), and my English teacher (10) writing recs. They should be, in order of quality of writing, English, APUSH, and Calculus. The English one, additionally, should be commenting on my writing. In essence, I find it important. I would like to send them all, but am cognizant that two is preferred and sophomore teachers are not necessarily as liked as junior and senior teachers for recs. Should I send all three as teacher recs, just send the two upperclassmen teachers as normal recs and the third one as a special rec concerning my writing, or just send two of them? If the latter answer, which two would you recommend?
