Several questions, please answer

<p>Nine questions:</p>

<li><p>For the community college courses taken, would Math 111 and Math 112 taken at school count? I know I received credit at the community college for it, although it was taken at my high school with a teacher on the district payroll.</p></li>
<li><p>Is there any negative consequences of submitting the secondary school report and teacher recommendations, along with my writing samples, through normal mail, and everything else online?</p></li>
<li><p>In regards to these normal mailed items, which date is important regarding the deadline? Postmark, or day of reception?</p></li>
<li><p>For extracurriculars, is it okay to put them down for my senior year even if I haven’t started them yet when the application is due? This applies to track, Mock Trial, and Lit Mag.</p></li>
<li><p>For my submission of my writing, I know there is an arts supplement. Where do I find it on the common app site?</p></li>
<li><p>Is sending three teacher recs frowned upon? I have my APUSH teacher (11), my Calculus teacher (11, 12), and my English teacher (10) writing recs. They should be, in order of quality of writing, English, APUSH, and Calculus. The English one, additionally, should be commenting on my writing. In essence, I find it important. I would like to send them all, but am cognizant that two is preferred and sophomore teachers are not necessarily as liked as junior and senior teachers for recs. Should I send all three as teacher recs, just send the two upperclassmen teachers as normal recs and the third one as a special rec concerning my writing, or just send two of them? If the latter answer, which two would you recommend?</p></li>
<li><p>Would I put 11 or 12 as the grade level for National Merit Semifinalist? I know it is announced during the latter, but the former year is when I took the test to determine my placement.</p></li>
<li><p>For subject tests, would I put Math 2C or Math 2?</p></li>
<li><p>Under work experience, I worked two jobs seasonally for the past two years. I would need four “jobs” to accurately represent the time I spent working at these two? How do I work around this?</p></li>

<p>I know it is lengthy, but this would help immensely in my application process and I would be greatly appreciative. I looked through other threads, but couldn’t find other topics that applied directly to my questions.</p>

<p>Two additional question: </p>

<li><p>Concerning my volunteer hours helping people with computer problems and issues, where would I indicate hours. And how do I resolve the issue of hours per week, and weeks per year, considering they don’t accurately represent how I attained the time spent on my volunteer work that I did.</p></li>
<li><p>I am independent studying AP tests/courses during periods for my schedule. Should I indicate that with a parenthetical statement on my “Current Year Courses” portion, so they don’t think I am lying about the course offerings of my high school?</p></li>

<p>1) Sounds like it would count as community college courses.
2) No. A lot of people do this.
3) I would say postmark. Just get your things in a little early, and don’t worry about it.
4) I’m not sure, and was actually wondering this too. Anyone?

6) I would advise sending two, but it’s ultimately your decision.
7) Put 12. It’s when the award is given.
8) It’s “Math Level 2.” Not that this really matters.
9) I can’t think of a way around this; they’ll understand if you list four.</p>

<p>I looked at the arts supplement, but it doesn’t indicate anything with writing. Would it be best to contact Stanford and the other colleges directly concerning my writing?</p>

<p>Or, if you guys could tell me what to do, that would be nice as well.</p>
