<p>Has any of you had to face this Ordinance before? Not every town has it, but I had a surprise when I put my house on the market. From the “flipper” thread, you know I am into an escrow to sell a single family house.</p>
<p>Apparently, the ordinance is prior to closing and it is superseding any purchase agreement. The rule in my town is that a video inspection must be performed prior to closing and be submitted to the sewer district for review and certification. If the inspection fails the certification, the seller is liable to do the repair. The seller could be a bank or a home owner.</p>
<p>Not sure what happens in a foreclosure sale or sale of an condo.</p>
