Sex and the "older" woman

So I was cruising through the latest Atlantic magazine and I find an article wherein the author describes how most “older” women would rather eat a pizza than have sex with their husbands. Now, I don’t really care about the bed sheet behavior of older babes…except MY wife is two years older than I am and I’m pushing 50.

We’ve been married for going on 27 years (actually been married longer than I was single) and I’d be CRUSHED to find out my woman prefers pizza to me, even after all this time.

So where can I find women, educated and anonymous, who’ll tell me the truth about this?

How many toppings are we allowed on the pizza? ;)

face it…she’s just not that into you.

I knew this was a risk…

p2n:

It does not matter what women, educated, anonymous or not, tell you about pizza vs. sex. The only one who matters is your better half. Nice way to slice it, huh?

Are you suggesting that a national magazine may publish an article that I cannot take literally? Who’d have thought? ;)

anyway you slice it, this thread could get interesting. BTW, does it matter if the pizza is delivered or not?

Well, the existing list was boring. Not to mention that I like pizza, too.

p2n, her answer could hinge on which one she likes better when hand tossed…

or it could depend on the size of the tip…

or…

You should see the numbers when they compared CHOCOLATE!!!

The reason they didn’t compare chocolate is, because, well, they have some sense of pity. Unlike me.

Maybe I should be thinking of a chocolate bribe? You know Valentines Day is at hand.

Just for the record - I sent a dozen red roses to her office (delivery tomorrow)…and I fixed supper tonight! And went to the store. (No, I did not do anything wrong - let’s be clear about that. She just…well, you get it. :D)

p2n, was the supper pizza by any chance?

No. Homemade marinara (always buy the expensive tomatoes - they’re better)

See post #8.

Hmmmmmmmmmm, who are you calling “older”??? Maybe THAT’S the problem if she prefers pizza?!? ROFL :D

Foodie that I am, I’ve always viewed it (preferably good sushi and tiramisu) as an “after” activity. Gotta build up that appetite first! ;)

BTW, I was recently sitting in the dentist’s office waiting for my kids when I came across a Time magazine article that stressed the “use it or lose” it nature of ahem sex. My hubster is really glad that I stay abreast of current events! ;)

~berurah

Well there ya go. They probably didn’t ask the opinions of women hitched to younger men.

haha, well no pizza envy tonight.

^^OMG Touche, corona!!! ;)

NOW I know why papa johns has $5 pizza Mon-Weds night. They must be making a fortune!! Quick, time to buy some stock.

Glancing with bemusement at the four boxes of Papa John’s pizza sitting on my countertop  'Cept it’s only Mondays here and $6.00 'stead of $5.00. Dh and I don’t typically eat the pizza though…we’ll probably grab something later… ;)
