<p>UCLAri: I respect your opinion and I hope you respect mine; I hope you don’t simply throw it off as being “negative.” I’m not American, by birth, so my culture has also played a major role in many of my beliefs. Premarital sex is strictly forbidden in my culture for the reasons I outlined. Ultimately, for me, it comes down to this: once you have sex the first time, you can’t go back and change the past (having sex and losing virginity) - you’ll have to accept the consequences of your actions whether good or bad. Seeing several negative consequences coming from sex before marriage, I personally don’t feel it’s appropriate to “experiment” in this aspect in relationships in one’s life.</p>
