<p>what are the penalties of sexual harassment in college? will you go to jail if you sexually harass someone of the oppposite (or even same) sex?</p>

<p>If you are reported and they press charges against you, you will have to go to court. It really depends on the situation.</p>

<p>Sexual harrassment in college is a big deal, so yes, if it gets reported, you could get jail time. Realize too that sexual harrassment and assault are oftentimes intentionally loosely defined, so you really should be respectful of the opposite sex. For example, even an apparently innocent back massage and cuddling during a movie could easily become sexual assault if you cross the line of what the other person is willing to do.</p>

<p>Verbal sexual harassment is not illegal. Grabbing a body part or something of the sort could be construed as illegal, but telling some chick she has amazing hooters is not going to get you thrown in jail.</p>

<p>But you CAN be reported for sexual harassment for making ‘inappropriate comments’ (i.e., “you have amazing hooters”) if they find it offensive, which can lead to formal sexual harassment charges. Different states have different regulations about sexual harassment.</p>

<p>well, was it at least worth it to your brother to watch her ass? it would suck if he got suspended for 2 weeks for starring at ass that wasn’t even worth it.</p>
