I go to an extremely competitive, top-50 magnet highschool that draws from the entire city. I’ve also taken a hella challenging curriculum, with lotsa AP course and whatnot.
No one from my school has EVER gotten into Brown. D:</p>

<p>Well so much for keeping it brief, but Ill try to on my end…</p>

<p>Brown’s admissions is a crapshoot to say the least, and while your going to need to stand out and have good stats, just express what it is about you that makes you completely different, something that makes you the only one in your’s schools history to deserve to get in… and then maybe… BTW tell whoever’s first in your class that he’s a lucky man… sounds like a great school.</p>

<p>Best of Wishes, and BTW, just to paint a picture, Browns Mid 50% for the ACT is 28-33… making their average ACT score roughly a 30 (I compare the ACT because its an easier figure), but it goes to show that it’s more than just test scores.</p>

<p>You deserve to get in just because you have paintings by Thomas Cole and CDF on your blog (not a fan of the pre-Raphaelites, however :b )</p>

<p>Btw, I think I was like the first person in at least a decade to get in, so don’t worry about your school’s history with individual colleges</p>
