SFSU - consequence of accepting admission and then withdrawing?

I am a transfer student, currently contemplating transferring to SFSU in the fall. It was the only school I applied to (for many reasons, including price, location, and specific programs) and I was accepted.

I accepted my admissions offer on April 1, because at the time I was very confident in my decision and knew 100% that this is where I wanted to go. But now, for various reasons (which I could explain if you must know), I am strongly considering taking a gap year, and I want to reapply for Fall 2012. (Another consideration is waiting until I’m 24, which would be Fall 2014, to reapply; totally different but legitimate reason, but same application/withdraw situation.)

What I need to know is - am I going to get blacklisted for withdrawing after accepting? Is it even a possibility to withdraw an acceptance and then reapply and get accepted again a year later (or a few years)? I’m sure this might be a big deal with more prestigious schools or some UCs, but I figured it wouldn’t really matter at a CSU. Any info, facts, or insights would be appreciated.

Nobody “blacklists” students for declining acceptances, least of all a Cal State school. You’re fine.
