<p>My parents want me to go to Santa Cruz but I heard it sucks there. I want to visit but I don’t want a boring tour… I want to shadow a student, preferably someone who parties. Does anyone know if they offer stuff like that there?</p>

<p>I went on one of their regularly scheduled guide tours and it didn’t seem boring. In fact, my wife and I were laughing almost the entire time making jokes about how you’d need a chainsaw to cut down all the trees on your way to classes, and the fact that you might need a tranquilizer dart in case you run into a bear too.</p>
<p>I guess it depends on your definition of “sucks”. Are you maybe looking for a big party school?</p>
<p>I know someone who loves it there. The academics are good. Don’t know about parties though. I think things are more laid back. More weed than alcohol.</p>
<p>I bet the admissions office could find someone for you to shadow.</p>
