<p>i just starting my pre-med path and thinking about shadowing. My mom is a nurse practitioner and i was wondering if shadowing a np instead of a md at first will look bad to med schools? I am going to shadow mds in the future but since my mom is an np and is letting me shadow her i thought it be ok to start out wit her. Also, how do we show proof of the hours and who we shadow or volunteer?</p>
<p>its fine- certainly would not look bad. and you do not show proof, you simply write on the app what you did.</p>
