Shakespeare on College Admissions

“If it be now, 'tis not to come; if it be not to come, it will be now; if it be not now, yet it will come: the readiness is all”
Hamlet

As usual Shakespeare said it all.

I’m signing off till next year. Enjoy your kids over the holidays!

Peace to you all.

lemme guess…Act V, said by the troubled prince himself?

Here is Langston Hughes’ take on ED deferral (j/k, obviously he was thinking about a bigger “dream”). this was posted by a deferred student in another forum.

“Dream Deferred”
Dream Deferred

What happens to a dream deferred?

Does it dry up
like a raisin in the sun?
Or fester like a sore-
And then run?
Does it stink like rotten meat?
Or crust and sugar over-
like a syrupy sweet?

Maybe it just sags
like a heavy load.

Or does it explode?
