Shall i do SAT?

I’m 19 now, just dropped out from a twinning program. I was majoring in actuarial science and then I felt that this isn’t what I should be doing. So, I discontinued my studies. I really feel that I should do a degree that could be useful in a career that I’m sincerely passionate about, that is filmmaking. I want to write, direct and produce movies. After graduating, my dad said he is willing to invest his money in starting up a film production company or an advertising studio, where I can begin my career. My parents are very supportive about me getting into the film industry. I also want to be a human right activist and I’m preparing myself by doing a lot readings.
Now, I have an issue. God knows what I should study!!! I’m interested in creative writing, business, performing arts, political science, law, international relations, theatre and drama. I probably want to get a degree in creative writing but unfortunately, universities in my country doesn’t offer this program and also performing arts or anything related to media. There is a degree in photography being offered in my country but, I’ve been to several courses in that and self taught myself.
I seriously want to study in US. Many universities in States offers all those programs I’ve stated above. Shall I do SAT and get admitted into an uni in US? I’m thinking of majoring in creative writing. Is it worth doing SAT and studying this major in states? Do universities in US offer scholarships for international students?
I honestly have no clue how does SAT work, like what subjects must I take for filming or writing major? How long does it take to prepare for SAT? When are the tests? I tried looking up in the net if there’s any SAT courses offered in my country, it seems that there aren’t many. Therefore, I really don’t know who and where to refer to if there’s any enquiry about SAT. Shall I do SAT or just do a foundation program and continue on doing a degree in my country?

Taking the SAT Exam will increase your options. Colleges prefer applicants with SAT scores. Many have made it mandatory for applicants to take SAT, or otherwise they will not be admitted.

Some universities in the US offer scholarships to international students but not many, so you’ll have to do research on them. Google is usually a good starting point.
