I saw the infomercial the other day, I thought “Maybe that would be freaking awesome to have in college, maybe I should buy it!”

So, does this thing work? it’s 19.99, and the commercial looks low budget though, (u can totally tell they change the carpet when he says he’s doing it “live”)

Um, and what about the Zorbeez? Billy mays says it’s awesome (hate the guy)

My brother/sister-in-law saw a live demonstration at the Minnesota State Fair. I think they said the carpet thing worked (though not quite as miraculously as they make it appear in the commercial), and it really could absorb that much liquid.

I’m pretty sure the stuff the is the same material that divers (of swim & dive) use to dry off between dives at a meet. It gets most of the water off, and can be wrung out easily.

Also, stop shouting at me, Billy Mays. I’m not deaf.

^The reviewer seemed really annoyed ; I couldn’t stop laughing!
my parents bought these from costco and returned them the same day. The towels were flimsy and if I tried, I probably could have torn one in half. I don’t know about the tv price, but for the price at costco, it would have been better to buy normal washcloths.

At our office Christmas party this year, one of the yankee swap gifts was the Sham-Wow-thought it was just a gag gift, but it ended up being the top gift choice of #1!

I think the Sham Wow works (seen videos, not the infomercial)

but I think they don’t have good quality control. There are some people super happy with their ShamWows and others who hate them cause they don’t do anything.

I saw those at Costco. IMO, save your money. Shamwow is a rip off of The Absorber, which is made in Japan by Kanebo or Teijin and sold at auto parts stores.
