shape up hair cut

hahah i have his nose and i didn’t have to break it twice :P

do NOT go to a white people hair salon/barber for a shape up. you will walk out looking like a mess. if you do go to one of those places, make sure whoever does your hair is black. not racist, but white people cant understand the shape-up concept

I also had the same problem in that a lot of people in my school had that haircut and looked good in it but I never bothered to ask what style it was. So one day I told the barber the details of it and he said its called a fade where the back and sides are short and the top is not as short but both are cut with a razar machine. Anyway it looks like another version of the military crew cut but just longer.

you mean a blow out?

definatly print out a pic and a defnition and bring to a barber.

No thats not a shapeup.

Shape up, when you get a bloody haircut the barber takes off hair and makes your side burns and sides and neck look nice. In time, Hair Magically Grows and thus you look messy and unclean. Thus you get a shapeup.

Haircut every 2 weeks

shape up every week within that 2 weeks.

gemstar66, thats not always true. My barber is a monster and hes white.

i’m surprised some people don’t know what a shape up is. i don’t get why some here are saying to go to a black barber to get it done. maybe it’s because of where I’m from but i can go to any barbershop and tell the barber (doesn’t have to be black) to give me a shape up and they know what I mean. i’d be real curious to know what places you guys are from.

^it’s probably b/c the type of shape up he gives is a different “look” than the traditional shape up some people are referring too.

i guess a black barber is going to do a certain type of shape up that looks more clean, and that fits a black guys type of hair better. it’s just…i don’t know, you have to go to a black barber shop and notice the difference. i’ve seen white barbers do shape up, but they’re a different style. eh, it’s hard to explain w/out actual pics.
