^^^ That sounds cool! I enjoyed my NBC Olympics app when the Olympics were on…

Weather Channel app is great.

Downloaded the Facebook app a couple of weeks ago when we went out of town for the weekend - my kids appreciated that since we didn’t have a computer with us!

I’d appreciate a mirror, too. Just make it work better than the various flashlight apps, which I’ve never been impressed with.

My latest favorite–especially on Oscar night–is the IMDB app. It’s fantastic for movie (and TV) trivia lovers, and for settling domestic arguments over, for example, whether that actor you’re watching in a movie really did appear in “The Wire.”

I also like Evernote, which I use on my iPhone and my desktop. I am addicted to the New York Times crossword puzzle app.

Dropbox - not just for itouch/iphone, upload your files and access them everywhere.

Remote - if you listen to music on itunes while away from your computer, remote lets you control itunes from your itouch/iphone

USAA Banking - I can deposit checks from my phone, love it!

Vegout - great for finding vegan/vegetarian friendly places - we’ve used it in many cities and while it is not comprehensive it is very good

Soundhound - hold it up to any song playing or hum into it and it will tell you the artist and often the lyrics. I love when a song comes on the radio and I don’t know who sings it and I can find out quickly.

Sportacular - keeps me up to date on football/basketball/baseball

Shakespeare - all the works of Shakespeare.

Kindle - love the app more than I love my kindle.

iPeriod (iP) - okay this is going to sound crazy but it’s a period tracker and is invaluable for my oldest on her iTouch when she was having hormone issues. We were able to pull it out at the Doctor and give her real data on cycles, etc. It also has a discreet title and button for the app.

Fandango & Flixster - good for previews and movie times and even buying tickets.

VeganXpress - can find all vegan friendly items in a wide range of restaurants. I know this isn’t important to many but for those that are it’s a good app.

to a T - an app for the “T” in Boston. This was fabulous when D and I went for a visit since it could show us the closest stops to where we were and give us routes to different places.

Hotelsnearme - I also have a few other hotel type ones for finding hotels near you on road trips. I tend to drive until I want to stop unless we have a specific location in mind so these are great for knowing if the next hotel is close or available.

momof10of13of15: D2 also has the complete works of Shakespeare and Soundhound on her iPhone.

I also have iTrans, which is the equivalent to ‘to a T’, but in Chicago for the Metra. I’m sure D1, who lives in Boston has used ‘to a T’. D2 has one for the EL in Chicago, too.

This phone is just absolutely blowing my mind. I also got a MacBook Pro, but am not really using it yet, as I paid for the service of them transferring everything from my PC to my MacBook, but I have to go back and leave both computers overnight, and I haven’t managed to find time yet when I can go without both of them. Once I learn the iPhone a bit more (maybe a couple of more days) I feel I can basically get by with it if I don’t have a computer.

For those who want mirror screens: I purchased mirror “film covers” for my phone. Simple!
