Sharing Your Experience?

There are many involved parents on this forum, and I was wondering if you would ever consider starting a blog, to relay your experiences? Or would you create recommendation threads—for Example recommended prep books, what your kids used etc. Do you think that would be useful?

Speaking strictly as a plurality of one, I stick with CC because I find it’s current structure easy to navigate. Blogs tend to be, um, cumbersome.

Blogs are a time-consuming commitment. It’s easy to find the answers you are looking for here. And as a poster, easy to chime in when you want to and can.

Some of us have “blogged” on here waaay too much. Find a prolific poster who has shared their family’s experience and search their prior posts. Voila! Instant blog. And it’s IRT.

A blog is one person’s opinion. On cc, you get lots of opinions. I definitely have favorite posters on here and would read their blogs (see cur above!), but the variety of information found on cc is what makes it so valuable.

There are too many different questions and needs for different folks that would be missed in a blog. This works and can be searched for what you want.

CC is just fine the way things are. (Well, the servers could act less squirrely…)
