Watched Jaws tonight as a family in honor of shark week.
Good suggestion! Need to revisit that movie.
We watched Jaws too. We haven’t had a chance to watch anything else yet but we enjoy the educational shows and documentaries.
When my D was younger we’d watch some of the campy movies… Sharknado anyone? I just came across a memento from a Sharknado “watch party” while we were on vacation. I made folded hats out of paper towels and the kids all wore them while watching sharks and body parts fly through the air. Haha
Jaws is my favorite movie. It came out when I was five years old. My parents hid me under a blanket in the back of their station wagon to sneak me into the drive-in to watch it.
My dad was approached to work on the movie when they were filming off Martha’s Vineyard. Someone on the crew got word that he was in the Coast Guard during Vietnam, and more importantly, was an electrician. They needed someone that was comfortable on a boat and could fix the perpetually malfunctioning electronic shark. He turned them down. I still haven’t forgiven him.
I just watched Sharknado 2 (guess there are 5 of them now!). I couldn’t find the original.
Watch Under Paris on Netflix! A shark in the Seine during the Olympics. Or watch it after the Olympics…
