Shelby Davis scholarship for UWC alumni in NYU New York and UChicago

<p>I am a current junior at a UWC. I want to apply to NYU New York next year aaaand paying tuition is definitely going to be a struggle.
Anybody know how much Shelby Davis scholarship ($10K or $20K) is offered to UWC alumni in NYU New York and UChicago?</p>

<p>My recommendation is that you see the GC at UWC as s/he would be in the best position to discuss the type of student; SAT/ACT/GPA/EC that gets this scholarship.</p>

<p>If you are an international student, most schools are not need blind to international students. This means that your ability to pay will be a factor in admissions. IN addition, there is very limited financial aid for international students where as there are only 6 schools that are both need blind and meet 100% demonstrated need for international students. </p>

<p>Even if you should get the scholarship from UWC, neither NYU or U of Chicago meet 100% demonstrated need (even for US citizens). If you only need the 10K fro UWC to make college happen and you have the balance of the money, you are going to be in a better position than if you get the 10K from UWC and you need 50K from NYU/University of Chicago. </p>
