<p>H and I went mattress shopping today. After doing lots of research, my mind was made up to purchase a Shifman mattress. However, the salesman (at Bloomingdale’s) was pushing an Aireloom mattress. Shifman is a hand made mattress that retails for about $8,000, but just started making machine made mattresses at a lower cost. The Aireloom mattress is made by Kluft. It is a high quality latex mattress. Both mattresses retail for approximately $4500 and are on sale for $2,000. Since my CC friends are so knowledgeable in so many areas - I would like to know if any of you have purchased an Aireloom mattress and whether or not you’re happy with it. I am concerned about the latex sagging as the mattress gets older.</p>
