Shifting from the SAT to ACT

So I am taking the SATs next weekend and am registered for the April ACT. How hard is the transition? Any advice? How high can I expect to score, seeing as I have about a 2200 on the SAT? What things will I need to really emphasize in my studying?

Thank you all. I’d really like to do well (I’m trying to be recruited for a sport to an Ivy and need to kinda get my testing out of the way this year, and if my SATs don’t go the way I want them to I need to have my ACT to help).

The ACT is based around reading comprehension at fast speed. If you can read/think analyze fast, you will do ok. Time is going to be your main enemy, not the difficulty of the questions like on the SAT. Time yourself with practice tests.

Focus a little on the science section, it’s not on the SAT. Read the questions/answers before looking at the charts.

To speed up your reading comprehension read a fun novel or two, something like Star Wars, Harry Potter, etc.
