Shifting gears: seeking degree to combine Business with passion for cars

S is in his 2nd year at Ole Miss. Grades are average to poor, team sport did not work out the way he hoped it would, just not a great fit. S really enjoys cars and would probably be better suited to a technical career, yet he really wants a 4 year business degree as well. The only combination program I can find is at Ferris State in Michigan. Does anyone have any other ideas or know of other automotive programs that offer a technical and/or an automotive management/marketing/business degree? Thanks for any information.

Can’t help, but you might get better replies if you change the title of the thread to reflect what you want to know-- like “looking for automotive management/marketing/business degree”

A business degree with heavy emphasis on supply chain management (which is going to be in huge demand in future years) may be just the ticket, and will be useful in whatever aspect of the transportation industry he ends up wanting to work in.

I’m not sure if this program is exactly what you are looking for but Pittsburg State in Kansas might work.

[Department of Automotive Technology - Pittsburg State University](<a href=“Oops 404 Error”>Pittsburg State University)

thank you! much better title
