Shipping bath bombs

I am preparing a care package for my daughter and I have some bath bombs and a few other items. Can anyone recommend a method to ensure the entire package doesn’t end up smelling like the bath bombs?

In my experience anything scented permeates the package it is in. Consider shipping 2 packages-- one with the bath bombs and another with whatever else you want to send her.

If your daughter is living in a dorm, you might want to check first to find out (1) whether there are any bathtubs (many dorms have only showers), and (2) whether such highly scented products are allowed in public spaces like the bathrooms.

Thank you. I’m shipping two packages and she has a bathtub in her apartment.

Just don’t list the name of what you are shipping on any shipping documents.

Try bubble wrapping them individually so that they stay intact.

Why not have each bath bomb in a separate sandwich size ziplock bag? Some smell may permeate but not much.

What is a bath bomb and what makes it need to be so isolated in shipment?

@momofthreeboys It looks like a ball of chalk but it’s soap. When you put it in water it disintegrates.
It is powdery like chalk so it needs to be packed properly otherwise it will break into pieces.

Soap? I thought they were more like fizzy balls of scented bath salts. I’ve never used one though.

Bath bombs are hard-packed mixture of dry ingredients which effervesces when wet. They were invented by the organic cosmetics store LUSH, which originated in the United Kingdom. They are used to add essential oils, scent and colour to bathwater. They are a form of bath fizzies.

Ah I guess I am just the Vitabath generation LOL. If they are bigger maybe put each bath bomb in a section of an egg container with some foam or something to keep them from bouncing around.
