I know there are others out there who struggle to clothe their long-limbed but thin sons, so I wanted to share this find.

Banana Republic has slim fit, long-sleeved T shirts in TALL sizes. I think they were 100% cotton, but might have a bit of spandex. I bought some at the BR outlet for about $15-17.

DS is 6’2" and about 145 lbs. This medium T was a good fit.

Thanks for the various tips. Youngest son, who is 6’4", and I were just discussing this very issue - t-shirts just tend to be too short on him; and baggy. He’s thrilled that his weight recently went over 160 - all bone and muscle.

yep, I love these threads, cause S1 is 6’4" and 145. Before Christmas I started a thread about pants and got a lot of good suggestions. The Banana Republic tees look good - I’ll have to try a couple for him!

My 6’5" 160 lb son has a very long torso and shortish arms and legs. He bought a “tailored” dress shirt at Jos. A. Banks that fits beautifully.
For long- and short-sleeve t-shirts, he likes the fit of Lands End shirts - and they’re on sale now in some colors! (Use Value20 for promo code and Pin 2141.
JC Penneys has long ties and socks for shoe sizes 13 and up, and tall white undershirts which wear very well. I also bought him white undershirts in a large size at Costco, and they are plenty long, although not specifically labeled as “tall,” Kirkland brand. He normally has to get an x-large in “non-tall” shirts.

Unfortunately I don’t have this problem, but my sister’s son is 6’4", weighs about 135-140 lbs, She said she buys her son’s clothes at Jos. Banks, and Nordstrom.

Our biggest problem is finding something that has any real style – the basics are fairly easy using Land’s End, Penny’s, LL Bean, etc., but try and find something with any real style!! Son had made minimalism his style statement.
