Sholarships and EFC

<p>My daughter is a finalist for a very nice renewable scholarship. 7500 each year for 4 years. Will this scholarship increase our EFC? I know it will reduce the grant money that she is receiving from her school, but i’d rather have known money instead of possible grant money. I’m just worried that it will increase what they say we can afford.</p>

<p>scholarships only affect your EFC is they would be over the COA. Which I’m sure is NOT the case in your situation.</p>
