Hey guys, last week I was accepted to one of my top EA schools (Boston College). Although the thought of ending the process right now is tempting, I’m still feeling a little ambitious and I’ve decided to go all out on reaches
Oh, and I’d likely be premed if that makes a difference

Unweighted GPA: 3.4
Weighted GPA: 4.0
School doesn’t rank
7 AP classes taken (including this year)
one 4, rest 5

2360 SAT
760 CR
800 M
800 W

770 Bio
760 US History
800 Math

Activities
Varisty Soccer
Varsity Basketball
Varsity Track
Volunteered as an SAT tutor
2 years summer research in a biology lab
a few clubs and other marginal things

Schools I’m applying to:
U Chicago
Wash U
UC Berkeley L&S(already submitted)
UCLA L&S(already submitted)
Tufts
Middlebury
Bowdoin
Carnegie Mellon HSS & MCS
U Michigan LSA
USC
Johns Hopkins

I know they’re all reaches and I could very well be denied by all of them, but could you guys help me order them from most likely to least likely or at least suggest which ones may be willing to take a risk on an imbalanced application like mine?

you have a good chance at all your schools, but they are all INCREDIBLY difficult to get into (as you know)… I’d say your best chance is at USC and U Michigan (if it’s your state school?, or UCLA if that is)…

your SAT is fantastic, but that doesnt make up for your low GPA. That will indubitably hurt you at the schools to which you are applying.

That being said, I think you have good chances at Tufts, Middlebury, Bowdoin, UMich, USC and Carnegie Mellon, as well as UCLA if you’re in-state. You might get lucky at WashU or Chicago.

Bowdoin might be hard to get into as GPA is very big there. Wash U and Chicago are the only 2 where it could go ethier way. Other than that, i would consider the rest of the schools almost definite acceptances.
