Shopping experts... looking for slim 15 34

I noticed there was some great advice about shopping on this thread in 2004, so please help if you can!

Is Brooks Brothers really the only place to go to find slim and extra slim fit for 15 34? It’s an odd size, I know, but I’d like to find a place where it costs 50 rather than 100 or more. My boy is super picky and wants button-down collars, because he doesn’t like to iron and says the collars wrinkle. I’ve looked everywhere and hope someone can help!

[Men’s Size 15 x 34 Tailored Fit](<a href=“Lands' End | Swimwear, Outerwear, Casual Clothing and more”>Lands' End | Swimwear, Outerwear, Casual Clothing and more)

^Land’s End offers Tailored Fit shirts in 15 x 34. Take a look at the options in the link posted above.

Do a search…there is a great thread in the Parent’s Cafe about slim clothes. My slim kid gets great fitting (and less expensive) clothes at Banana Republic and Express…both make a fitted shirt. In addition H&M has very inexpensive slim cut shirts. Don’t know about your sleeve length!!

there are lots of places online that have different sizes then in the stores. We help a friend get extra tall slim pants that way. Gap, American Eagle and as above said, Lands End and LL Bean too.

I cant tell you the exact size because the shirts went away to college, but DS likes the slim fit dress shirt from Izod. (Nothing on the shirt except the inside tag says Izod.)

We bought either 15 or 15 1/2 in great solid colors. found them on sale at SteinMart for about $20. I was willing to take a risk at that price.

S has also fallen in love with the Converse brand at Target. These are mostly pullovers and Ts, but they have long arms and hug the skinny torso. They also have casual button-ups that are made to look a bit wrinkled.

Banara Republic is a good source, too.

Good luck!

I think they use the term “trim”. Great quality

Joseph A. Bank has them. The regular price is steep, but they almost always have some sort of promotion going on, like buy one get one free.

“athletic cut”, and “fitted” are common words for a slimmer fit.

I use Lands End for my thin son. For the longest time, he could fit in the “big boys” section of Lands End…including their uniforms (for high school). Now, I can get his khaki pants there in the men’s section…it’s very hard to find small waist khakis with a good length inseam in retail stores.

A lot depends on how slim this individual is. Neither my husband nor my son can wear Lands End, JosABank or LL Bean slim cuts…they are just plain too wide. Those nice expensive Hugo Boss shirts fit them both well. DS has found that the slim cut shirts from Express fit him well…Banana Republic too. What I’ve found is that if the shirt has ANY kind of pleat in the back (on the yolk) it will be too wide for my slim guys. The BR and Express shirts…as well as the Brooks Bros and Hugo Boss, are very tailored with NO extra fabric pleats.

While I like Lands End very much, I’m afraid DS sees the name as old fogey land. I gave him a LE muffler for Christmas. He liked it, but cut the label out before he would wear it.

Anything else I ever bought for him from LE remains in his closet.
