I went to Chicago a year or so ago, and I ended up roaming around Bucktown, where I found one of the most incredible vintage stores I have ever seen in my life. My daughter wears vintage clothes, so I’ve visited them all, I feel-- and this store had some of the most incredible and one-of-a-kind clothes (including cocktail dresses, prom-type dresses, coats, women’s suits, hats) that I have ever seen-- exquisite and in absolutely perfect shape. Of course, I cannot now remember the name of the store, but it’s on the main shopping drag in Bucktown. Go visit; you will not regret it. Your daughter will surely find something there, and she won’t see anybody wearing the same dress at her prom/

I will add that my daughter always found her prom dresses through vintage stores; there are also a few really good online ones. If you want to know what they are, just pm me. The older dresses, as you may or may not know, are more true to size than today’s clothes (you know, back when a size 4 was really a size 4).

I just remembered. I am pretty sure it was called Store B.
