shops that don't card

I’ve been going to bluefront lately. What else?

Why would a shop card?

Bluefront “specializes” in wine and beer, therefore I assume the OP is looking for other outlets where, as an underage customer, he can purchase the latest vintage offerings from Burgundy or Bordeaux.

Not that I have done it (I actually didn’t when I was <21), but it is so much easier just to get a fake. Or the easiest route, be friends with someone over 21, but not just for getting booze, then you’d be a pain in the ass.

Strickland’s, near Lloyd. Sometimes you can get away with it at Campus Corner (State & Packard). Whatever you do, do not try to do anything at Village Corner. Notorious for taking fakes.

That’s surprising. I did my grocery shopping at village corner last year and I was beginning to doubt if there was anything they wouldn’t let slide.

Don’t know what gave you that impression.

(It’s not a $500 ticket though, it’s a $250 misdemeanor.)

I’ve never noticed that wall. I just got that impression because they seemed pretty… laid back. One of the cashiers once applied ointment to a rash under his shirt, after showing it to the other cashier to ask what he thought it was, while ringing me up.
