Obviously, ideally everything you write is phenomenal and killer and is great and all, but should I give this as much effort/attention as the other (debatedly more “real”) essays?</p>
<p>Yes, the EC short answer also counts in your admission. You just have to present your most valued EC in your true interest. The adcoms want to see your interests as well as how well you give your time to your greatest passion(outside classroom). Show them why you love that particular EC and what drives you into it.</p>
