Short Answers for Supplement with Character limit

I realized that in many short answers on the supplements, the box to write them does not have the capability to indent or make a new paragraph. Does this mean I have to write 1500/2000/2500-character limit response into a single, long paragraph??? This doesn't make any sense. Say if I wanted to make new paragraphs, am I supposed to enter and space like five times to make it like an indent? This character limit thing is really frustrating...

No need to indent. Just start a new paragraph from a new line.

Is that acceptable?

Why wouldn't it be? That's what I'm going to do anyway.
