<p>For short essay questions that ask ‘why do you choose to apply to this school’, do I have to research the university’s brochure and website, and list down the reasons it attracts me? Like the social life there, academics, clubs, location, research opportunity, etc. (anything else?)</p>
<p>For short essay questions that ask ‘describe an extracurricular activity/hobby that means the most to you’, do I have to describe an activity in general or describe a specific example? For instance, my interest is in filmmaking, so do I list all my filmmaking-related activities and briefly describe each one, or do I talk about that screenplay I wrote last summer?</p>
<p>And for both essays, do they have to be as profound and funny/emotional as the long essays?</p>
