Short on Credits

<p>So I’ve decided to attend U. Nebraska, but I found out they want 4 units of math, and I’ve only taken 3.5. So they tell me I should sign up for a class at the local CC. I take their entrance exam and they say I should take intro to algebra. I talk to the GC and she won’t let me take college algebra, despite currently taking trig honors and AP stats. What can I do to get the extra .5 credit?</p>

  1. Have your parents override the GC (I think most schools allow that)
  2. Find an easier/different math class to take (if one is offered)</p>
