Yale’s supplement has the Short Takes part which makes me feel a bit confused what to write…especially the third question: What two qualities do you admire the most in other people?
Should I write something that I don’t have in myself? Or just the good qualities I appreciate, which I may have got already?

i don’t think it matters which way you answer it. your interpretation of the question says just as much about you as the answer you give.

I think they should be good qualities you appreciate, whether you have them or not. No. 4 is for what you don’t have (enough of).
