<p>D landed herself an absolutely fabulous internship this summer about 25 miles from our house. Yay. We’re looking for local housing options, but she’s likely going to need a car. </p>
<p>We only need it for 60-90 days. We’re thinking that I would give her my car and rent a car for me (I commute 10 miles to work). What’s the cheapest way to do this.</p>

<p>Basically it costs about 1400 for 7 months and you turn the car in. It’s hard to see how you beat something like this</p>
<p>maybe one of you could car pool and save the cost of the car entirely? Or if she lives with you perhaps she can drop you off on her way into work? I think once you see the cost of short term renting, you will look at oither options.</p>
<p>We rented through Enterprise for an internship. It was fairly cost effective.</p>
