short term housing in Boston (on transport line to BU)

<p>Hi all,</p>

<p>I am writing in to check is someone in the helpful CC community can help with some ideas for short term housing in boston (proper- on the transport line to BU). about 3 week or so - max 1 month.
I would need something furnished. we will be four people for a week (mostly less) and then once D goes off to the dorm, we will be 3. We will close this off with just one person staying another week.
what are the options?</p>

<p>I have been looking at some short term housin on the internet and have made a few enquiries. one is not as good as the pictures. another wants me to have two studios because of the 2 person limit in a studio.
we are travelling from India and i cannot afford two studios. The rents for 1 are still a stretch but we will manage somehow, hopefully.</p>

<p>I think the stress of sending of my daughter off has finally caught up with me!! No other way i can explain why i have not posted this question here, a looooong time ago. This group has been so helpful through the admissions process - so here.
any advice greatfully accepted. </p>

<p>I’m not sure if there is one near Boston, but you might want to check to see if there is a Marriot Residence Inn. They do long term “hotel” type rentals, some suites. They include breakfast so that will help you a little in terms of cost.</p>
