Should Apple change their dictionary definition?

<p>A Massachusetts student wrote to Apple to ask them to delete a definition they have for the word “gay.” </p>

<p>I’m wondering if words are hurtful enough that we remove them from a dictionary? Is it people who use these “words” that makes them hurtful? Is being PC censorship?</p>

<p>If you take all the special interests and emotion out of it, the definitions still need to be changed. The definitions suck.</p>

<p>Looks like Google is at least throwing a note in it’s both informal and offensive.</p>
