Should colleges reduce their dependency on the SAT and ACT?

<p>Here’s an article I read this morning. Which colleges will actually take up this advice, thereby reducing the need for students to risk everything for a high score?</p>

<p>IMO, definitely not. People cheat in normal school tests much more often than the SAT/ACT. Removing the SAT/ACT won’t stop this kind of cheating, nor the exaggeration/making up of ECs on college applications (in fact, it might increase cheating as students would have less ways to differentiate themselves from others).</p>
