<p>I’m planning to independently study this course alone, however I have a few questions for those who have taken the class/and or the exam. Since most study guides often include the cultural/historical description of each said country, is there a need to include them in the essays? If so, how would I approach writing an essay explaining the gov’t’s economic/political/social factors while also including a brief description of the said country or countries current gov’t model?</p>
<p>Often it is important to understand a countries political and cultural history to understand the position they are in now and the policies they employ. Case in point- China</p>
