I’m currently taking courses in Indiana CC, graduated from high school this spring with academic honors.

HS GPA: 3.51 (only AP’s are Calc AB and BC, have 3 B’s and 1 A, just wanted to take BC; + some unusual classes in freshman and sophomore years)
SAT: 1750 (I took it in May 2011, going to take it Jan, 26th, but it must be late…)
Visible positive trend in grades throughout HS (just had a couple of C’s in my freshman year, then only A’s and several B’s, no D’s or F’s)

EC’s: not much… I came from Russia to the junior class in American HS, have done about
50 hours of community service. Did not do tennis in HS (took classes and was teaching tennis myself and several other people), but won a high school city tournament this summer. Also, I have several great photography portfolios and really really passionate about photography.
I want to create a volunteering group in college this January, though.

College: Ivy Tech CC in Indiana
College GPA: 3.81 (Accounting 101 - B (89%), Math 136, Engl 111, Microsoft Office, Business, College Success - A’s)
Next semester will take 15 rigorous credits and will be enrolled in honors college (Honors Speech, honors Engl 112, honors Humanities 201, regular Math 137, regular)

Major: Economics (in CC major is liberal arts with honors)

The deadline in the 1st of February, so…
So should I apply as a freshman in college and try to see if I get in?
I was going to apply for my junior year, but decided to give it a try.
Or should I better wait and stay in community college and become more competitive?
My social life is really bad in CC, I cannot find people of my age, and the students commute and live far away… This is depressing. I want a full college experience in an urban city, but the cost might be a problem (I don’t know if USC is generous).

I will appreciate your honest opinions :)
