Should I apply?

I did not do well in my August MCAT. I only got 23M. 9 physics 8 bio 6 verbal and M writing. I immigrate to US at 14yrs old. However, I got 3.75 cummulative GPA. Research experience on SBU and HKU (in HK during summer). I volunteer in community clinic since HS. I also volunteer in Stony Brook Hospital ER room for a semester. I am also the TA for Honors Chemistry for the one year, TA for CHE 130 for a semester and TA for statistics now. I am also involved in the following:
Member of Alpha Tau Freshman Honor Society in Stony Brook University; Volunteer as the big sib during summer orientation of 2003 and 2004; Member of Special Service Council of the Undergraduate Student Government; Event Coordinator of Alpha Epsilon Delta (Premed Honor society) before and Vice president Now; (Fall 2004, Spring 2005); Member of Sigma Beta Honor Society; President of National Organization for College Placement (Stony Brook Chapter); President of Higher Education for All Teens;Golden Key International Honor Society
Should I apply this year or wait for next year to take the MCAT again?

If you want to get into good MD medical schools, you’ll have to raise that MCAT score. However, if you really don’t want to take the MCAT again, you might look into DO schools. They tend to care less about your MCAT scores and more on your personal attributes.
