<p>If you want to apply, then apply. Just make sure you include a few safety schools on your list. But if you want to go to a school, by all means, apply!</p>

<p>Yeah I know, but it’s a lot of work to do the app and get letters, et cetera. I was more interested in knowing if I have a reasonable chance to get in.</p>

<p>Your GPA is on par, but your SAT is just in the bare for NYUs accepted students…it may be a low reach depending…CAS is a low reach and Stern is a high reach. Any others are probably high matches.</p>

<p>Yeah, I am not applying to Stern. I am trying to get into CAS. Any more alumni or current students have an opinion on my chances? :O</p>

<p>Oh, okay… duh. Your GPA is above average but your SAT is quite low. High match I’d say.</p>

<p>Yes, the HPA is the weighted. I took the October SAT and I think my writing score will improve to ~650 and my math score to ~600. Eljamas, what exactly do you mean by high match?</p>

<p>If this is true, you have a good chance for CAS.</p>

<p>High match is a match but may be somewhat difficult to fully target. Just under a low reach.</p>
