<p>Like many of you, I received many emails from the admission office last year.
I thought of applying but my SAT were way too low for considering UChicago
So I didn’t send in my application
Now they’ve sent me an email to extend my deadline
Are they just sending it to a lot of people to lower their admission rates?
I don’t want to waste my money to apply if I don’t have a chance.</p>
<p>I would say if your SATs are below 650 that may be too low. Do you feel comfortable with other places you applied? Are you happpy with your list? Do you have any stretches?</p>
<p>My SATs are just around 650,but I am taking the Jan SAT.
I was considering adding one school one my list, but a low match not a reach.</p>
