Right now I am struggling with senioritis as my school year is coming to a close in another 3 weeks. Right now I have an A (cad architecture), two B+'s (calculus and english honors), a B-(physics), a C (latin 4), and a D (ap psychology) which I have listed under the pass/fail option, meaning as long as I pass it has no effect on the gpa and the college just sees “Pass” on the transcript. Normally, that D would be a C and that C would be a B, however the rigor of those courses has greatly increased. I am accepted at Elon University, and I just want to know if I am in good enough standing right now as I am trying to keep up with this difficult last stretch. My fear is obviously having my admission taken away. Thanks for any advice or information.

Worry about that D. I’ve never heard of anybody being rescinded for Cs. A D, however, could potentially cause problems.

Even if the college can’t see the D and they just see the pass/fail? I’m sure they guess what it is if it’s a pass fail, but I just want to confirm that.

Agree that you should worry about the D. Because when you applied you listed your spring classes, and your decision was made assuming that you would pass and get credit for all of those classes.

Focus on the Psych. Because the senioritis will only get worse, and it doesn’t take much to turn a D into an F

^D or F doesn’t matter for a P/F class, anything below a C is a non-passing grade. The OP needs to concentrate on bring the D to a C in the next 3 weeks.

Oh, I was unaware. We don’t do pass/fail at our school. I like it better that way.

If you have a 60% or higher it’s a pass where I attend.

^Then you’re lucky, that’s not the college standard. Be sure you pass!

The C shouldn’t be much of a problem but just in case, see if you can’t get it up to a B-. As for the D, just do whatever you can to make sure it doesn’t slip into the fail range.
