Should I be concerned?

I am an in state student that applied early action to OSU. I still have not heard back from them. My application says complete. Many of my friends have been admitted and Im starting to get worried. I screwed around my first two years, but my final two I have turned around and raised my GPA from 2.7 to 3.2. Is this something OSU would be impressed about? Also, I raised my ACT from 20 to 25. Once again, improving well. I have many extra curricular activities and volunteer experience. Has anyone been admitted with something close to this? Will OSU consider my improvement, or just look at the numbers and move on? my degree is Zoology, so idk if that makes a difference or not. my friend has a 25 on the ACT but is top 10% in our class and got into the engineering program at OSU. Should I be concerned with any of the questions I asked? Thank you in advance for comments.

My older brother applied to OSU with the same GPA, a slightly higher ACT (27) and very very few extracurriculars. Same degree as well. Was not accepted. If I were you, unless your extracurriculars are absolutely phenomenal, do not put all of your eggs in one basket. Apply to some other places as a fallback just in case.

thanks for letting me know. was that this year?

EC’s are volunteering at local hospital, camp kern counselor, baseball and bowling team, went to national competition for BPA, youth club at church, calculus club, environmental club, and foreign language club. Any good?

Zoology is that 3.2 your weighted or unweighted gpa ?

I got into OSU with a 28 Act and a 3.4 UW (most rigorous course load possibe). If your GPA is UW you definitely have a shot, not sure how good of a shot, but like the other dude said, make sure you have other options.

unweighted GPA, and yes same. my high school does not offer many AP, but i took every single one they offered
